According to The Sun, it is not unlikely that Manchester United will get Gareth Bale in the January window.
Manchester United have had a difficult season so far, and are far behind the top teams. The north-west England club is in 7th place with 18 points up to Liverpool, that is leading the league with 34 points after the first 12 games.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been highly criticized since the start of the season and the Norwegian would look to improve the team in the upcoming January window.
According to English media, Manchester United were close to bringing in Gareth Bale this summer, but it did not work out. However, rumors are saying that Manchester United have not given up the hope of buying the Welsh world star who had a very successful spell at Tottenham.
Gareth Bale has at times had a somewhat unstable existence in Real Madrid, however, the Welshman is notable for 104 goals and 67 assists in 238 games for Real Madrid.
Bale is under contract until 2022 and is valued around €60 million.
