Is Pep Guardiola going shopping in his old club? According to the Daily Star, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wants to bring Dembele to the North England club.
After Ousmane Dembele moved from Dortmund to Barcelona for around €100 million, he has not been able to live up to the high price, and he is currently chasing time on the pitch in Barcelona, who are using players like Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Antonio Griezmann and Ansu Fati instead.
The 22-year-old winger could be brought in as a replacement in Man City for Leroy Sane, who is rumored to Bayern Munich.
However, should Dembele get Sanes spot, he would still face tough competition from players like Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, Sergio Agüero, Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez in the Manchester City forward line.
Dembele in under contract with the Catalan club until 2022, and is still valued around €100 million.
