German international, and World Cup winner, Sami Khedira, is moving closer to Arsenal. The 32-year old Juventus player was spotted at the Emirates Stadium ahead of the friendly between Arsenal and Lyon on Sunday, and yesterday Juventus director Fabio Paratici flew out to London to negotiate several potential deals for Juventus.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport Arsenal have offered the midfielder a 2-year contract worth €4m per year.
Sami Khedira is facing tough competition in Juventus with the arrival of fellow midfielders Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal, and Adrien Rabiot from PSG, and further to that, new Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri is looking for other qualities for his midfield than what Khedira can bring to the table.
Khedira joined Juventus on a free transfer from Real Madrid in 2015 and has scored 21 goals in 87 matches for the Italian champions.
