Matuidi not going anywhere

The French international Blaise Matuidi was expected to leave Juventus this summer after the arrival of Adrien Rabiot from Paris SG and Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal.

However, the 32-year-old defensive midfielder has made a huge impact on new Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri, and has been a key figure on the Juventus midfield so far this season.

Manchester United has been heavily link with a move for Matuidi, but Sarri has now marked the player as untouchable, and even wants to start talks of a contract extension with the player’s entourage, according to Tutto Mercato Web.

Matuidi is under contract with the Italian champions until the summer 2020.
