Olivier Giroud’s contract will expire at the end of the season, and he is currently chasing a new club to improve his chances of playing in the European Championships 2020.
It has, according to Sky Italia, brought Giroud to Italy, where Giroud’s agent was in Milan on Thursday to discuss personal terms with Inter.
The two parties have reached an agreement on a contract that runs until the summer of 2022, but the contract is valid only if Inter and Chelsea can agree on an immediate transfer.
Thus, the Serie A top team is only interested in Giroud if they can get him now, but Chelsea are reportedly asking for a high price.
The London club are hoping to get around €10 million for the French striker, but Inter will only pay about half.
