Tottenham going for Bale

According to The Times, the Tottenham camp believes that a breakthrough has been reached in the pursuit of bringing Gareth Bale back to London.

Tottenham are reportedly chasing an agreement that could bring Gareth Bale back to north London, and the Spurs management is reasonably convinced that an agreement could be a reality.

The English newspaper writes that details are still missing from a deal where Bale’s huge salary in Real Madrid should be a hindrance, but despite that, management believes a deal is realistic this Friday.

According to the media, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has been in Madrid to talk to Florentino Perez about a transfer of the 30-year-old Welshman.

Bale joined the club in 2013 and has a contract until 2022.
